Frown Lines

The glabella is the area between the eyes. Aging in this area is often referred to as frown lines, "11" lines or "11s".

 

Injecting Botox or fillers directly into these lines will not work. Dr. Azzi sees many patients who have had failed treatment attempts elsewhere for correction.

 

To properly treat these lines, Dr. Azzi injects a neuromodulator such as Botox, Xeomin, Dysport or Jeuveau (Newtox) into the muscles that cause these vertical wrinkles between the eyes (11 lines).

 

If injected in the correct areas and with the correct dose, the wrinkles can be dramatically improved. It also acts to prevent aging since the Botox injected prevents the creases from being repeatedly formed.
