One of the most common requests plastic surgeons in south Florida, and more specifically Palm Beach County receive is for fillers to be injected into the lips. These include Juvederm®, Restylane®, Belotero® and fat to name a few. If these are done improperly or on someone who is not a candidate, it can lead to the dreaded “done” or “ducklip” appearance.

Very few plastic surgeons are trained to perform such a specialized procedure. He or she must understand the proper distance from lip to nose and when adding volume in the form of fillers or fat grafting is appropriate.

Dr. Azzi performs almost all of his facial plastic surgery procedures, including liplifts, right in the office under local anesthesia. The Lip Lift procedure is almost pain-free and takes about 30 minutes. Recovery is rapid with patients experiencing very little downtime.
